Important Update: My Blog Address Has Changed!!!!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Let me start off by saying that I am UNBELIEVEABLY upset by this issue!!!
When I originally purchased my custon domain name through Blogger, I made the mistake of not clicking "auto-renewal". Therefore, my domain was set to expire in December 2013. I contacted GoDaddy.com to do this, and the rep I spoke with told me that my domain was good until 12/2014. Therefore, I figured everything was A-OK. Well, turns out this was NOT true, and my domain went up for sale yesterday(I guess they give you a 30 day grace period or something) and SOMEONE IN FLORIDA NAMED RICHARD PURCHASED IT!!! I had no clue why anyone would want to buy my little old book blog domain... Then I come to find out that there are people out there who actually wait for domains to expire, buy them, and then contact the original owner and offer to sell it back for crazy amounts of money! OOO man I was pissed! SO, my options were to create a whole new domain, or to choose something other than .com for my domain.

Therefore: I have now changed my blog address from www.JessabellaReads.com to www.JessabellaReads.org

This is going to cause soo much hassle and work for me. I have to try and change everything where I have entered my blog address. (publishers, Netgalley, Edelweiss, Tour Sites, ect.) I am sure I will run into issues GALORE!

Not to mention, that when I go to www.jessabellareads.com, it says "My Site is Launching Soon"!!! I have NO IDEA what this person plans to use MY name for, but I will do everything in my power to prevent my blog name Jessabella Reads to be affiliated in any way with some other website.

For now, my blog address is:

I will update you guys with any changes. Soo sorry for any inconvenience!!!!

I love you all and hope you will stay with me through this change.

  2. I'm so sorry this happened to you. :( I hate how malicious domain name hoarders can be.

Always keep that "auto renew" button checked!!
